PGFC, its about 11.5nm west of Rotto. There is also Cm somewhere closer to Rotto, but its a little bit South of Rotto IIRC. All the locations are on the PGFC website.

25 kilometers
25 kilometers
20 to the one around the wrecks
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

For the cost of tying up to your mooring/boat for a night I would be happy to skipper you around the FAD's for a day mate.
I am hoping to do a night or 2 over there during the Xmas/NYE period.

Well, to answer his point.
Well, to answer his point. The PGFC runs the FADs program, through help from their sponsors, and with the help of volunteers, be they members of not ;)
So, the PGFC does all the work, but some businesses chip in with gear, or money, to get their name on it. Fair enough of them to send you an application form!
However, to quote from their website; PGFC FAD Program, it does say that;
PGFC manages the metropolitan FAD program with financial support from WAGFA, Recfishwest, Department of Sport & Recreation and Lotterywest. It has operational support from Challenger Institute of Technology & Royal Perth Yacht Club. 6 FADs are positioned west of Rottnest in early November, sponsored by All Marine Services, Club Marine, Fremantle Sailing Club, Furuno, Hillarys Yacht Club & Perth Game Fishing Club. The FADs are recovered in the first week of May for refurbishment.
Laminated copies of the Rottnest Trench chart showing FAD positions and coordinates will be available at club social nights or can be ordered through for a charge of $25 each.
