Farewell Trueblue III HELLO new Rig.

G'day everyone,

Thought it was about time Dad and I got a little serious with our fishing...

Dad sold the Seafox 257 and got this :) mild mid lift crisis at the young age of 61.... He definatly caught me off guard!

..Introducing * AR 'N' AR TOO * - ( decals coming, along with a fishwrecked sticker mybe??? )

First sea trial went well, ALOT of books to read regarding the serious sounding equiptment we have, Twin Yamaha 150's...she gets up and goes!

Looking at heading out this weekend to chase these snapper :P

When I am up to speed with everything and confident with the boat I will be asking for deckies...

Cheers to ALL BOAT BUSINESS for all there help with this :)

See ya's out there..

Matt & John.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Nice tub. Real nice. I wouldn't think you'd have too much trouble filling those deckie spots, but if you ever do, I'll be more than happy to come along :)

Thu, 2012-07-19 16:42

all jokes aside..

how did it go in the ruff stuff? would be nice in that cabin with the doors shut on these cold morns.

and what are you doing about the over size? i think it was over 3mtrs wasnt it? or was it 2.7mtr

and it has some awesome elec's in there as well, all sorts of buttons to play with,  how did they perform?

 Well coming out of hillaries

Fri, 2012-07-20 06:50

Well coming out of hillaries was good, there is that many switches and guages its pretty full on in the cabin.. So we cruised down to the point 3 miles north and anchored up, had a play with all the gear and tested out the "fridge to cold beer ratio" that worked well. Then we headed for rotto, coming from a glass boat to ali is definatly different..rides comfy and great to have the fully enclosed cabin! Fitting a heater!

We are fully oversize, banners and permit. The cruiser tows it well :)

Keep you all posted how we go on sunday.
