Fat Whiting

Can't fish for Demersals so had a crack at the little ones and came up with these.
The Kgs were great. Just outside the sound we found these.
All on fresh squid tentacles.Not many squid around?????????????

yeah we struggled to find squid on sunday arvo. tried the weedbeds north of the ramp for nada. im curious to find out if anyone is having any luck with them lately?

...always handy getting a headstart with some squid...bit of work though it seems of late

I struggled to find them landbased in freo last time i squidded not that long ago. None at usually producing spots.....

nice! saturdays lookin good for a jig then stop off on the way back for some squid and finish up with a few fat sandys!
Edit: make that thursday but i'll be working so maybe sunday...

i was trying to catch some squid out of hillerys last week and didnt find any... nice job on the catch btw
