FCV 620/585 owners.
Righto just a quick question to 620/585 users about the user manual and user guide. I took the plunge last week after lots of research and got myself a 620 which I got from chivers marine . It was the only one they had which was to be installed onto a boat but the owner pulled out for whatever reason but the box was opened ready to install and they lost the user manual which was easy to find on the net and download then print but in the contents list it says there is also a user guide . What I want to know is there any good info or anything useful on that because I can't find it anywhere on the net. Due to the box being opened I managed to get the unit for $1120 with the p66 triducer which I'm pretty happy about .
Can't wait to get out and start learning how to use the bloody thing.

I'm stuck up at work out in the desert 600 km inland of port headland for the next week , hanging to get back out on the water.

that ought to get you well under way and i think it's the set up guide you're talking about
there is heaps of info on this and other sites on tuning them , though most people's settings are different.
you just have to have a play and find out what works for you
