Hey guys, just wondering how deep anyone has had a clear reading of the bottom with a 628?
Ive heard many different stories but if you have a picture of any deep stuff that would be great.
Cheers

I have a 628, haven't tried
I have a 628, haven't tried out real deep, I did have it working perfect out in 120m and that was on HF and gain not cranked so I think I could get it working out deeper on LF, only one way to find out.

Yep im the same mate,
Yep im the same mate, crystal clear at 110m on HF, hoping to possibly get 200m on LF but I may be a bit optimistic?
Will be good to hear if anyone has gone over that 200m mark with one.

You should get 250m out of
You should get 250m out of low frequency, have seen them read in 500m before as well. The key is a good set up, if the transducer works well at speed in shallow on both HF and LF then you will get a good reading deep. LF readings are all down to good installs. At the end of the day air is air you can't tune that out.
