First Shark

Well spent Saturdau]y fishing at Pardoo with no luck so headed back to Finucane Sunday morning to fish off the rocks managed to catch a 6-7foot black tip reef shark well I
think it was as it had a black tip right on top of the fin. It did a massive run of about 200metres and then seemed pretty easy to reel in except for the odd head shake and small run.
Anyone know if these are any good eating?
I cut the line when I got him to the rocks as I didnt bring my knife with me and didnt know size requirements etc

Tough
Any shark up that way except spot tails, milkies or very small sandbars, black tips and reefies are tough eating and best let go as you did with that one.
