What size are you after? I've got a 122x45x45cm tank, 12 months old, no scratches on a knee high DIY wood stand & DIY hood. I can email you pics if you are interested.

Fish Tank

Mon, 2013-05-13 14:19

Hi Paul,

I have one that I decomissioned when I moved house. 6ft long by 2 ft wide by 2 1/2 ft high.

I wanted the extra height, as it makes the whole tank look so much bigger.

Whole thing built in 12mm glass on powdercoated steel frame.

Has roof suspended metal halide lightbar which has one white and one blue MH globe, and UV globes either end.

Cleates sunlight ripple effect on sand.

Comes with protien skimmer, 2 huge 3000lph filters, one with UV steriliser.

Once the tank setup has cycled for a few weeks, is amazingly clean and efficient.

Last fish was a hand tame estuary cod, bought from aquarium shop as about 10cm long honeycomb cod, only became apparent it was an estuary cod after it grew bigger. It grew to about 450mm, at which time I needed to move house, so I donated it to the Rockingham Environment Centre, where it still lives on.....in the touchpool!

Awesome fish, would eat mulies from my hand, until one day it bit me, and drew blood....I then named him "Fillet", that's what the staff there have called him too! ;)

Price? Well it cost me all up around $5k, but I'd love to see go to a good home, as I can't set it up again where I am, so make an offer.

Can email pics if interested.

Regards,

Joe

EDIT, tank was not 21/2 feet tall! :)
