Fishing Bag

Can anyone point in the direction of a larger zip up type tackle bag with removeable trays? At the moment i have a small old 3 cantilever draw Plano Box and a larger multi pocket zip up bag off Ebay - not enough room in the Plano and the bag is too bulky - basically i'm tired of shuffling bits back and forth depending on where i am fishing. Any hints would be appreciated.

Are you talking about something like this: http://www.bluewater.net.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1102

I have something similar, but a bit more deluxe construction. Can fit 4 boxes normally, or 6 if you unzip the bottom. Has two side pockets, front pocket and a large on top. I usually swap trays around depending on what I am doing.

I also have a backpack that fits around the same number of trays in top and in the bottom has an insulated compartment for bait/ice/catch which might suit well if you do more LB than boat fishing.

I have something like that and its not all joy. Its a pain when the container you want is in the bottom so I was thinking of getting one of those 4-stackers sometime.

If you mean like mine, the trays are vertical (unless you put 6 in when 2 will be flat). Pretty easy to pull out a tray using the handle (and i've labeled them so easy to go straight to what you want).

Mine takes the trays sideways too just it kills trays that have a lot of lead or jigs in them.

Jigs have their own bag.

Jigs have their own bag. Though my octa type jigs are fine in the trays. Good to distribute if you have a lot of lead though.

the one i have stacks sideways, so you slip the appropriate tray out.  but i have had one like yours, and agree that it can be very tedious if not stacked with some thought.

I have one like Till's

and it's a pain in the arse. Sounds great in theory but when what you want is at the bottom tray it's pretty annoying. I rekon I'm going back to a tackle box not bag.
