Hi Guys I haven't posted a report for a while, probably because I've had nothing to report about but I'm here in Chiang Mai on a family holiday and the missus let me go on a day’s fishing so I thought I'd show you all what it was like
Now I know fishing at a well stocked lake isn't really sporting but none the less I had such a great day that I had to post this report for anybody planning to come to Chiang Mai so they know what is available.
So here are the pics, only Mekong catfish caught, overall probably caught 30+ fish, smallest about 5 kg biggest about 40kg. And yes each pic is a different fish.
Enjoy

Little Fatty
Last one of the day

Yeah you can take your own
Yeah you can take your own tackle if you like, a few locals brought their own gear, one my guides mates came in the arvo with a jigging rod and saltist 4500 reel and was skull dragging them in, apparently some Thais see fishing as exercise..
