I was up there for the last
I was up there for the last week of July
When we first arrived the easterlies were blowing so the first half of the trip we tried landbased.
If you've got a 4x4 the Francois National Park is a very easy track with little to no challenge.
Over 3 days we fished three different spots: Cattle Well, Gregories and the top of the Cape
Gregories and Cattle Well looked extremely fishy and we'd heard good reports but we worked them for nothing more than whiting and not a sniff on the balloons
The Cape was a lot more alive but we only managed Rays, Bull sharks, Sandbar Sharks and Shovelnose rays
Boating wise I tried Monkey Mia for the first time but i'll admit I was a little impatient.
I tried Cape Rose and the Channels but we didn't get a sniff
Water was 17 degrees and i'm not sure if that had any bearing but I didn't see any Pelagic action
Once the winds had dropped on Denham side we worked Bent Pin, Channels and some areas on Bar Flats.
Bar flats was a little slow but if you worked it and were there at the right time for the bigger pinkie schools there's no issue finding a feed

I didn't really do any good
I didn't really do any good at Bent Pin
From what I heard you need to be there at the right time when the tides are changing and early morning/ late evening
Bar flats is a pretty large area, it's not one pinpointed spot but there's lots of drop offs and coral/reef areas
I'll send you a PM

About.
About 18km out from the main Denham launch ramp.
Heading out on 270 degrees, about 18km should put you on the southern end of it.
Good luck..
