Fishing down south
Submitted by Jack on Mon, 2011-12-05 01:09
Heading down south for 3 weeks over the Xmas break for a family holiday and was wondering where to head for fish with the kids off the beach to get a feed. Whiting Herring ect. Obviously "down south" is a vast area..... but will be pulling into where ever someone says its a good spot. Havent been down that way before so any info will be appreciated so we can plan a trip.
Cheers

'down south' is a vast area as u said... might want to narrow it down to a few options and people can help u choose from there. whiting/herring etc can be caught practically anywhere down south.

haha yeahh
Down south is huge area.. every town you will catch herring.. i usually go Augusta and Albany and herring are thick there. Skippy go well at Augusta as do whiting, and i have only ever fished from shore.. easy fishing for the kids.
