fishing gear - vietnam?

i am off to vietnam in about 5 weeks....has anyone bought fishing geaR from there? If so where is the best place to buy?

Basic Gear
PJAY,we spent 2 weeks there in May 09, great place but what gear I could find was pretty basic stuff. We were in Saigon and ventured out from there.
Awesome place and real cheap...

spend your money
on grog and food - you'll live like a king for 2 parts worth of bugger all.
Tip: dont change over too much money, A$100 will give you anywhere between $1.5 - $2 million dong (and its a pain in the ass to carry). Food for a day will be about 100,000 dong and a beer (Tiger) is about 10,000 dong (depending on what you drink and where). So you can have 20 beers a day and it'll cost you like A$10 - 12.
Plus whatever you change to dong is impossible to change back.
