Cold early start Meeting George ( able dog) Jody ,kevin,Gary We ,Launching at Two Rocks for first light.Wind was up a little with white caps ,we were heading out wide to the 80m for the day but once out 14 mile we stoped as conditions weren't the best .We had a drift over a small spot and were smashed by to rampaging Sambos.both around 20kg .Both released,moving to the next bit of ground and a couple of small dhuies were caught.then a couple of good baldies..We headed a little closer in and anchored on a lump until the wind dropped a bit ,Kevin hooked into a good fish the call was a sambo but on getting it in sight we noticed he had hooked a nice Spanish Mac around10/12 kg,now that was a surprise.Once the wind dropped we hit a small bit of ground and Jody and George hook up on plastics ,two dhuies around 4/5kg.then Gary hooked a nice dhu around 8/9 kg ,a nice black bum to finish the day and we headed home a great day on the water with great company.Thanks guys look forward to the nixed trip.Was raped with the boat used around 70 lt of fuel for the day.this is 20lt under what the haines used for the same trip .and she cut through the chop really well.Very happy chappy.
