Fishing for skippy

Hey all
Going to for a squid and fish for skippy Sunday.
What bait is best to target skippy with we will be launching from point perion ramp so will be trying out there somewhere

they will take almost
they will take almost anything when you burley up. i have found a small strip of squid works well and wont come off the hook as easily as prawn or mulie. just outside john ledge is good for skippy and herring

+1 for the squid & burley
Unweighted bait is best and the deeper you let the bait get down the better.
Bluebaits if they are real picky, but I prefer the strip of squid tube (or better still, a fresh piece of the squids long tentacle), because you can let the skippy hook themselves.

The last big ones I caught were on lime green Big Johns Jigs, they were going nuts over it.

Where possible un weighted
Hook in the burly or a big johns small jig just drop and work back.
