Quick question about GI & Carnac, travelling between them in the centre is it wise to go slow and look out or is it safe enough to continue at cruising speed?

The Markers I saw are quite west of the islands
Locate them when east of the islands and head straight for them?

We were out there
In a Southwind ub520 - I saw you Tradewind out there and thought about coming over to say hello but decided to leave you to it. We started out inside the sound at daybreak near the shipping channel. My mates boated a couple of nice trevally, some scaleys for bait and I nearly landed a huge cuttlie off my snapper rig. We tried jigging for it but it must have been spooked. Then we moved out to the FFB between the Islands and proceeded with drifts resetting each time further north. The boys boated a few big trevally, I lost some jigheads and got a keeper blackarse on a nitro jighead and a mcarthy sp in yellow/white.

Can't miss the faded orange on the side of the Thunderbird ;)
2 weeks holidays start now so one of the projects is to try and cut polish the gelcoat and see if I can't get it looking a bit spiffier
Feel free to come over if you see me out there
