Fishing/camping

Hi all, thinking of fishing/ camping between preston and binningup, has anyone been to this area recently, is it better closer to binningup end or preston end, can you drive from preston or do you have to detour around meelup and are the drain outlets passable, havnt been on this section of beach in 20 years and suffering from CRAFT in my later years, any help appreciated, thanks in advance. Myalup
If my memory is better than yours then you should be able to drive down from Preston through to Myalup , mind you its been over 15 years since I fished that area.
About 5 miles south of Preston is what we used to call the False Cape, good for sharks, tailor , herring etc and possibly salmon if they are up that far.
Lots of spots behind the fore dunes to set up camp IF you are allowed.
