Fishwrecked-Reeltime Magazine - WA's FREE ONLINE Fishing Mag is HERE!!

Well after many months of learning all sorts of fandangle computer programs we at fishwrecked can now proudly announce that the Fishwrecked-Reeltime Magazine has been launched.  The magazine has the added benefit of interactivity, you can watch video's inside articles and test yourself in our  'eye's have it' challenge.  The first issue is very much a trial issue, where we gather feedback from you and try and improve on it for Issue 2 and continually upgrade it until we have a magazine that you won't want to miss.

Our writers and contributors consist of: Pilbarabrad, Gully/Ewan, Colin Hay, Tim, Kasey Leong, Jay Burgess, Honsu Chin, Buz, David Beavis, Andy Mac and myself.

The second issue will feature articles about Deepwater fishing off Perth (Deeper Still), Tantabiddi Terrors, Marine Habitats, Secret Locations and Rowleys Reminiscing plus much much more.

All your feedback is greatly appreciated and please take into consideration that this is our first issue and we will endeavour to fix any bugs/glitches you find and would take on board any suggestions you have in improving the magazine.  We have also set up a dedicated forum on the site where you can make comment/suggestions on the mag.

Cheers,

Adam and Andy.

Great Effort and plenty of potential here...

Sat, 2009-02-28 18:24

I haven't managed to get time to read all articles yet but it looks fantastic. Colin's article on Hillarys is perfectly targeted at the fishos who either have just started or don't have the capacity to enjoy some of the boating or 4x4 stuff. Well done.

I am hoping that there will be encouragement for all FW members to submit articles and photos of special trips etc for possible content as guest contributors. It's a great way of encouraging our members to be creative and draws from a very diverse range of locations and people. Who knows; we may find some hidden tallent out there.

Well Done Adam, Andy and all those who worked hard to make this happen.

Cheers, Vince

We have a core team of contributors but we would love to include some FW reader contributions. After all we are all readers and contributors to fishwrecked.
Watch this space for more details later, but I think I can arrange some kind of prize for the best readers contribution each issue. Might not be a massive prize early on as the mag is after all free... but we will see what we can do.
All contributions will be gratefully accepted but may not make the mag, depending on quality etc. Ones not in the mag will grace the pages of the forum in any case.
All vids submitted will get the Andy Mac / Adam G treatment and mixed to a nice soundtrack.
I can assure you all that there are some friggin awesome things to come, as Gully and Ewan have some absolutely sick footage to share in later Issues.Wink

Some great feedback so far.
Yes this has been some 9 months in the making and countless hours sitting behind this computer.Cry
It couldnt have happened without the input of Adam, his trust that it would eventually all turn out ok and our countless conversations about the mag and what goes where etc.Cool
The contributors have also been extreemly patient with us and I dip my hat to all of them. Its been a labour of love for me, seeing something get designed from the ground up, teaching myself some pretty complicated graphics programs and trying to then teach Adam (cough splutter... lots of fun there mate hey).Laughing
Its been a huge time cost but hopefully now I have it all sussed future issues will be far less taxing than this first one.Surprised
The boys in the team would have seen this thing morph over the past 9 months from a very basic chug chug chug mag to a fairly streamlines one you are all hopefully enjoying right now.
Best of all there is more great stuff and improvements to make.Cool
Cheers

Mon, 2009-03-02 14:52

If anyone wants to see their pics and vids put into the mag, we will be calling for forum contributions soon.
We had to be very secretive during the development phase just in case it proved too difficult and we had to give it away as a bad joke.
Again, a huge thankyou to the team that was involved. An a bigger thankyou to Adam for allowing us to leverage this great site.
