Free beers

Had a couple of Fishwrecked members book in to the units on their way back south recently. They graciously left a couple of stubbies of Ashanti and a can of Colonial I P A beer.
Had one of the stubbies a couple of days back and it was so so to my taste but took one mouthful of the can tonight and it would definitely be the worst beer I have ever tasted and I have tried some real shockers over the last 55 years including room temperature West End, Southwark, Hannans Lager [that gave you the runs for days after] but this one was only one mouthful and that was enough.
Thanks for the good gesture boys but please, no more of the Colonial rubbish [now I know why they are changing the name of it]

Not sure about that Asahi made in China stuff either.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

That Asahi is mother's milk
That Asahi is mother's milk but as Dodgy points out even better out of the 500ml cans which are brewed in Japan
Officially off the Pies bandwagon

Different strokes for different folks
I love that colonial beer myself. But I'll drink just about any beer to be honest.
Jeeze that Colonian beer is strong though!! Have a 4 pack of those and you're well on your way to hangoverville

It's one of the quickest
It's one of the quickest ways to lose business i reckon. Becoming politically correct unnecessarily.
Burley it and they will come.

Saved it
Should have saved what was left in the can, could have used it as paint stripper or oven cleaner.
Not one to tip beer out but there was no way I could take more than the one mouthful

Colonial IPA is a great beer
Colonial IPA is a great beer & I'm right now drinking an Asahi 500ml can. Hopefully we have the same taste in burgers otherwise I might need to stop elsewhere the next time I drive up north haha

Burgers
We make excellent burgers, even if I say so myself, and I haven't heard you say anything bad about the accommodation so I think we will see you back next time.

Glad you enjoyed the Asahi
Pouring the Colonial down the drain almost brings a tear to my eye though, such a waste of a great beer.
