fresh water license

I am thinking of taking my family down to Pemberton for a weekend or camping. Does anyone know if you need a fresh water fishing license to fish for redfin perch in the river there?

Yes. $40. Can get it at the post office. I went to bridgetown a year or so ago and hired a canoe for me and the young bloke. Took a rod with me. Went to the post office and got my freshwater licence. Took the canoe out and caught bugger all.... but knew I was legal :) ... if you are lucky enough to catch red fin, you're not allowed to throw them back. They're feral so what you catch you keep.

Cheers Randall.So many different licenses these days but hopefully it helps preserve the fish stocks.

Double check that...
...someone posted on here awhile ago saying you can no longer get fishing licenses at the PO...may have to do it online or at one of their offices...
