mate, nice fish and dam good idea for a cleaning bench,

I have one of those ladders as well, and must get me slab of granite.

Maybe a wash up tub could fit between the rungs on onside and a rubbish bag on the other...

now we thinking....

Skinning Occy

Mon, 2011-02-28 13:59

Hi Synthos,

I have a ripper little bait knife - only short, with a wide blade, rather like a sushi prep knife - I keep it really sharp - makes skinning occy easy peasy. It is much easier than using a regular bait knife as you have more control with the short blade.

Hope this helps.

Congratulations on your dhuie... I got one on Saturday too, but it only made 49 cm... :( But it was successfully released, so he'll be good for another day.

My deckie scored himself a 72cm pinkie though - that was good!
