in got a 140 4 st 06 suzi and just run reg ulp. no probs. couldnt realy justify spending the extra when not needed, altho some newer motors reccommend using the hi octane stuff

DF115's, regular ULP, just do not under any circumstance no matter the price use any ethanol blends, ESPECIALLY if the boat is left standing

 06 f150s. Just use regular

06 f150s. Just use regular unleaded which is 91 octane. My Yamaha owners manual specs minimum 86 octane.

Spend enough on fuel as it is without paying $1.79 a fkn litre or what ever premium 98 is at the moment

 Usually pick the middle of

Usually pick the middle of the three available at my local servo..which is 95. I’ve never used 98 but have used 89/91 a lot when out bush. When first got motor I ran a couple of tanks of 91 verses 95 to see if any differences in economy and power because I 100% get fuel economy in the Missus car when using premium

(did on river to take swell and current out of the equation and with just 1 POB)....at time I convinced myself at 18-20Kts I got a bit better than 1nm per litre using 95 and a little less using 91. Nowadays on big runs with two big blokes on board, Eskys, ice and every item that tackle world sells all on board I’m less convinced it make a noticeable difference whatsoever....

in fact when out bush I always choose normal ULP not premium as I’ve seen guys get a tank full of shit fuel when buying premium as the country servos just don’t turn over premium often enough and it’s often ages old and full of water especially in hot humid towns up north.

i mix it up a bit , but the 140 Lean Burn on my Barcrusher seems to be a bit more snappy on 98 RON .

I always ran/run BP Ultimate; or 98 octane if the BP is not available
when you think about it - fuel is (relatively) cheap in the scheme of things; and I have burnt a lot of it during my gamefishing & barra trolling days
