Furuno 1870F deep water pics

I bought the 1870f as a back up unit for the boat last boat show and have been using it in shallow since then with good results.
Yesterday I was able to give it a run deep for the first time.
Really impressed so far with how it performs. Should be even better once I get fully up to scratch on how to drive the menu system
The unit has the same sounder module as the 587 and is connected to an M260 wet box transducer
The 1870 is cheaper than the 587 and comes with a GPS being a combo so just wanted to show it could be a good alternative for those with smaller boats that still want good sounder performance

Yep
I normally do that reece. I also had the 585 running at the same time set up that way.
The bottom lock and the range in the menus is then bit I have to learn so I can adjust it down and use bottom lock.

500
Got out to 500 but really needed to set it up properly.
Will be giving it another go soon just to see how far I can push the unit.
Still even these depths are great for an entry level unit
