This is a great opportunity for keen land base squiders and boat squiders to learn more about this ever popular form of fishing.

Ok, about the night;
There's no doubt Paul Carter is one of the most knowledgeable squid anglers in Australia. We're lucky enough to have him travel from the East Coast thanks to Gancraft/Gladiator Tackle & Oceanside Tackle and Marine.
Paul will be doing the presentation talks and he certainly has some big credentials in Squiding:
* Started the Australian Egi Tournaments
* Australian Egi Tournament Director
* Host for squiding seminars/tuition around Australia
* Egi talks at Boat shows
* Australian Pro Staff for Gancraft
* Studied squid at University
* Squiding expert

6pm - 7pm First Half of the Talk
7 - 7.30pm Break time/Look around/Purchase gear etc
7.30 - 8.30pm Second Half of the Talk
8.30pm onwards Q & A plus your more than welcomed to look around/purchase gear etc
(The doors will be shut to non registered people)
Entry is no charge and feel free to bring a coldy along.

This will be a DVD presentation night, discussions on the latest egi techniques and explaining the Gancraft way of squiding. The range of Gancraft squid jigs both the UO-jya (hard body version) and the Egi-jya (cloth version) will be on display and big discounts for that night so don't miss out.
We will also have a great selection of egi rods on display including Evergreen, Hearty Rise, Fishing WA Extreme and more. The full display of squid jigs including Gancraft, Harimitsu and Yo-Zuri will be on display and discounted. Other squiding products like egi bags, egi pouches, squid gaffs and all squid accessories will be on display and discounted also. As for the rest of the shop, people attending will have the opportunity to get discounts (more than normal) on ALL gear in the shop.
Door prizes via a raffle and a great night indeed so get in ASAP!!

Paul and Neil from Gladiator Tackle/Gancraft turned up this morning to have a quick chit chat before taking off to do some business.

Squiding Info Night
Well what a night last night was. Paul Carter's " Squid Talk" (night 1) was a huge success with the shop full. Had to move a lot of the shop around to get all chairs in but we did it. Thanks to Paul Carter for the informative night and to everyone that attended (Thank you). One thing Ryan and myself had mentioned many times by people attending was just how much they learnt and how knowledgeable Paul Carter is.
Congrats to Daniel Wright for winning the door raffle prize which was a Squiding rod and a Gancraft squid jig. Daniel was a happy man and why wouldn't you be!!
Tonight is the last night and over booked but what the heck, Paul loves a crowd. Plenty of squid jigs went out the door last night with some Gosen egi braid, accessories and several squid rods. Another door raffle prize will be given away tonight and see you all then

Thanks guys. Was very informative. The squid don't stand a chance now. Pumped for my next 'egi' session with the new rod and techniques I picked up on Tuesday night. Definitely was a worthwhile night.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
