Garmin charts compatibility with Lowrance HDS 7?

Hey guys
I've just bought a HDS7 and I'm looking at my options for charts. I'm not really that keen on spending $400 on Navionics when I'm mostly a breamer.
Does any one know if I'd have any issue witht eh Garmin G2 charts on my HDS 7?

in a word!...I mean they wont work with lowrance they are designed for garmin by garmin

I don't know if this helps you but i have the navtronics silver card and want to upgade to the gold card. The silver is ok for the rivers and close to shore but has very limited detail for offshore . If your intrested Pm me and we can work something out.
