ive been told not to use mozzy repellent cause it gets on your hands then stinks up the bait and the fish dnt like it as much thats wat i was told anyway
There are plenty of software programs that will advice you of the "best" time and day to go fishing. Just as the almanac that is available at all fishing stores.
These are guidelines only A day that is "best" produces no fish whilst one listed as ordinary will get a great haul.
There are a lot of other factors outside the tide or solar/lunar effect Place Temp wind etc
I find that if iI am not catching anything I use the time to practice fishing. Casting, using HB's, Sp's, and various other techniques
I personally find it very enjoyable just standing on the beach/rocks with a line in the water and the quiet and solitude clearing my mind even without a bite
i think a lot depends on your reason for fishing. To catch a feed? Sport? Relaxation? Personal Time? All of the above?
As was advised Go all days if you can, you'll learn what effect the different days and conditions will have on your fishing and your mental attitude. And, as Adam siad, give us a report, even if nothing caught you could draw conclusions as to why, that will help you and others to make a decision when to go
(and don't be put off by any negative comments on here- we are all as different as any community)
Die hard it was only 12-24 months ago when you were hammering us with similar posts/threads.
Most crew on here don't mind helping new people to the sport out but you've gotta do a bit of basic research yourself and can't expect to be spoon fed everything.
Plenty of reading material to be found on the net, through the search function on this forum or in books (remember them) about your chosen quarry/target fish.
Dannyboss, when your learning, nothing beats being out there doing it, whether your cleaning up or catching sweet fa. It's all experience.
mate we cant tell you when the fish will be biting, most members on here have been fishing most of their lives and will still go out and not get a bite on some occasions, well, happens to me anyway.. you'll have your good days and you'll have your bad, just got to be outh there as much as you can
