@#$%@# - get a job and quit trying to get rich at others expense.

Had the store alarm go off this morning at 3am.  My mobile get the signal followed by a call from the monitoring center.  Grabbed the keys and headed up to find the front glass door smashed.  Called the cops to inform them what happened.  Looked thru the window and there didn't seem to be anybody in there, so I kept the cops on the phone and went in to check.  All clear, no one in the store.  Was told that a car was on the way.

The cops arrived quick smart and were very professional, took a bunch of pictures as I went thru the security camera footage.

3 persons, hooded walk up to the store, unwrap a hammer and smash the glass to try to get in.  Alarm goes off and they split.  Okay, they didn't get anything, but it really screwed up my day.  What was supposed to be a full day on the water with Till, but ended up being on the phone with the insurance company and glazier to get the damage fixed.

In this day and age, while the food cost, labour cost  rent are so high, every cent that comes in goes to the bank.  Now I have to fork out  for repairs and higher insurance at the next renewal.

I don't need this.

Once again - sorry Till for having to cancel at the last minute.

Yeah, those vandals were totally inconsiderate pricks.

Instead of fishing, I got homework done, I did the shopping and I cleaned the house!

We will make those fish pay soon Alfred!

I feel for you alfred, I stress all the time about my factory being broken into or burnt down.

as you know i had my trailer stolen last week and then recover'd it. The crack head only got charged with pocesion of stolen property.

He has walked away with a fine but was already on a suspended sentence for vehicle theft. I have no doubt that if i touch him in any way i will be charged. And he would probaly get compensation for being a victom of crime.

It seem's you work hard all your life and some shit for brains walks in and sticks one right up ya behind. Not good Mate, Hope you recover from this.

no witnesses to the theft so the thief could have been anyone - but he had the trailer so got nailed for possession of stolen property.  I think its a shame they didn't have shot at receiving stolen goods, but for that, you have to prove he knew the trailer was stolen when he received it, so... back to possession.  It's not ideal, but better that he gets belted for something that will stick.  He'll end up inside soon anyway.  One sometimes wonders whether when that happens, Bubba will come into his cell late at night....

No Justice

Thu, 2011-04-14 21:03

As alfred said, the cost of repairs and insurance is a killer. Even if nothing is taken or you recover the gear , you will never recover cost's or time.

Adam, my trailer was on his girlfriend's property, not his place of residence. So he claim's it was dropped there buy someone and alltho knowing something was not right, he dismantled it with intent to get rid of the trailer.

At least he got another charge on the mile long sheet he already has, I have no doubt i will run into this c$nt again. I wont be calling the cop's when that happen's. He will get foot up tha @ss.

This sucks alfred and i hope they get some karma for what they have done. One day someone will catch them on the job and not call the cops.

Copper pipe and wire

Thu, 2011-04-14 21:41

till, I knew a certain character who had a unit near my factory. He would steel copper water pipe and cable from factories ect.

He also stole a lot of other stuff from building sites. Last time i saw him was on the news. He used a pair of bolt cutters on a live power line.

Not much of him left to after that. Karma...

Me too

Not saying it was a good thing Maccatak, His poor family and friends suffered over the incedent. I wish no harm to anyone.

As far as stealing of people, I too had a bad childhood, No parent,s and on my own from 13 years old. what i did was get a job, not steal shit and blame every one else for my situation.

PS. This is not about you , me , or some poor guy that had a bad start in life. alfred is a hard working person and dosent need 3 hooded thug's wrecking his means or income.

Damn right, Grantartic1.

My old junior footy coach from Wongan Hills used to tll us 'Dont get bitter, get better'. I was only 8 or so years old, but it stuck.

Too many people go around blaming everything on everyone else for their situation, instead of focusing their attention on improving it....

My personal view is...

that their bad childhood happened when they were children and that as adults, personal responsibility around the finer points of ownership of property is not too much to ask.

Maccatak yea I agree in part with what youre saying mate, but I reckon at this point it becomes one of those "too hard for a fishing forum" discussions.

that said though, karma (without that label) would be part of what is brought up in the counselling your talking about.

We got broken into on the

Fri, 2011-04-15 10:31

We got broken into on the 19th of April last year. (on my sons birthday) A-hole stole a boat and three days latter it was found at his house and on his car. Anyway 7 court appearances later and he got a suspended sentence(was already on a suspended sentence i should add) So anyway we were awarded coast of $2000 ish for damages to a car and stuff. Have been awarded it in court but no one not even the courts can make him pay.

So i manage to track him down at his work. Having said that he's attitude is get stuffed and if i call him again he'll get the aboriginal legal service on to me for harassment. So just organising civil courts papers that i will serve on him at his work (big hotel in Scarborough, don't leave anything valuable in rooms).

Lets hope i get to have my day in court, but honestly not holding my breath.

The law is a ass.

Oh and  side point, Alfred dosn't work hard.

I run a Pizza Hut and there  is almost no cash in the shop as most of it is Eftpos.  The most they would have got is drinks out of the fridge.

Not Much to

Sun, 2011-04-17 17:50

Say Alfred, it goes on every day.

My 19yr old daughter is studying & working as a social worker, helping young homeless people who are one step from going to jail.

She saved up to buy a car for $2500( only third party insurance ), it was stolen about six weeks ago and yet to be found.

Nothing she can do but get on with it, borrowing the family car until she can save to get another.

Her view is that they must be in a dark place in their lives without any respect for themselves or that of others and need help.

My view is get a fair & tough justice system in place to sought them out.

Hmmm the old Yin / Yang views on life
