Going deeper from Two Rocks

As it was such a nice day today we decided to go out of Two Rocks and head to new ground in the 50-70m range.
The plan was to load the boat at 5:30 and launch by 6am. As a few of the fishwrecked members i spoke to today will confirm the line to launch at Two Rocks went from the ramp out to the main road leading into the town. 1 1/2 hour wait to launch and we were on our way by 7:30.. Doh Bloody public holiday.
We never made it to the 70m mark as we found some pretty good ground in the mid 50's dropping to the mid 60's. Great mixed bag caught and a few tanks not stopped. The weather played ball and it was an all round great day. Apart from the launch..Lol

That's bloody unbelieveble
unbelievable sheesh I'm glad we don't have to cue up like that down our way. The council should have a look at putting in a few more launching ramps instead of putting up great edifices to mark what good bloke they where.

Ramps
You can launch/retrieve a second boat there but it has to be done with a deckie/skipper on the boat to power off/on. There is no jetty on the left side and the reversing has to be pretty good as it's tight.
Overall the mood was OK at the ramp. Most were pissed that they didnt get up just that little bit earlier and the whole time we were retrieving there was an 8 boat wait, that was from just after 1pm.
