going down to albany

i am gioing down to albany and we will be doing some fishing just at the town jetty due to easy access for my leg so i was wondering wat fish and gear should i use aswell i need to know should i use burley and wat rigs would be good for down there

I hav only fished that jetty once many years ago. There were heaps of herring there. I lent a mate one of my rods and he put a herring out live. Unfortunately my friend didn't loosen the drag and I never saw that rod again. So there must be some decent fish around there as well.

The usual suspects should be
The usual suspects should be found. Skippy, Squid, Herring, maybe a whiting. Pretty much the same burley method as up around Perth but cockles are a good bait if you can get hold of some

Have seen kg's caught close
Have seen kg's caught close to shore over the weed and plenty of leatherjackets ect all along the jettty.
