golden ponds

haya guys

                 i stumbled across golden ponds when searching for something on this site.

sounds like a bit of fun and a good place to take the kids, so i was just wanting to know

if its worth heading up there this time of year? also what ild expect to get now, im gessing just bream

i used to go to golden ponds alot if it is the one i  think you are talking about, u get some nice trout but in my oppinion they arent good eating because they feed them these black pellet like things :( doesant give the fish a natural taste at all

 the fish caught from there taste very very muddy. 

if you want to eat fish and happen to be at golden ponds. just buy a barramundi from their tank in the shop. it tastes awesome. no muddy taste at all

you can catch small barra too!!!! but dont go during school holidays as the kids stir them up too much!! great fun but i wouldnt eat them!!!
