Sammy is on the money I rate stradics as good value for the price I might go a bit bigger than the 2500 if your chasing tailor and you find your self attached to a mulloway
the sienna is the best of the 'cheap crap' reels in my opinion. Look at it this way, the sienna will last a couple of years of heavy use where the stradic might last 4 or 5.
How in the world did you kill a stradic in 6 months ..going on 6yr's with mine and I treat her mean ?!Still one of the smoothest reels in my collection.
What actually failed ? as you will get warranty cover in that short space of time.

is the cheapest reel shimano make.
if its the most you can splash out on you could do worse.
Reverse cycle a/c supply and install - Ducted and wall splits

nothing wrong with the sienna
ive had one now for 5+ years as my squid,whiting ,bream reel .outlasted my stradic and sustain that only lasted 6 months

got warranty on my sustain

the diawa sol 2500 is a good
the diawa sol 2500 is a good reel but my luvias is heaps smoother. I think that the stradic might have a bit more drag preasure for its size.
