If it wasn't eglobal I'd buy it right now. Mate I work with ordered the hero 2 from eglobal and it never arrived, and the silly bugger didnt pay the extra couple dollars for insurance and he lost his money.
I think I'll sleep on it and decide tomorrow!

yes the price is excellent.
I use paypal and if the goodies dont turn up then you can at least claim back from them. Takes a while but they are good.

The amount of problems I've heard with the new Go Pro 3's I'd be sticking to a reputable retailer fellas.
Cheaper doesn't always mean better.

Similar price once postage is factored in, but with a little more buyer protection.
As Wazza79 says above makes sense. Everything is fine saving a few bucks but a warranty claim could prove problematic should it arise.

How can you tell the ebay one has more buyer protection? Sorry I dont make online purchases that much, never bought from ebay etc. this is a genuine question not having a dig or anything

Payment method
If you make a purchase using Paypal & the item does not turn up or is not as described etc. you are entitled to make a claim. Nothing to do with warranty but does protect you against being scammed.

It doesn't apply if you only pay through paypal, you also need to buy through ebay as well.
It is often as useless as tits on a bull though so make sure you get everything right if you intend to use it;
1) It must ship to your confirmed address.
2) It must be a registered shipping method.
3) It must take less than 45 to arrive.
4) You must claim within 45 days from the sale date.
Maybe more fine print, check their site ;)

These guys give you a tracking number and if you paid for insurance, no worries.
I have brought previous items straight from Hong Kong with no issues..
As for warranty the company that make these still have to honour their warranty obligations.
It is always funny how people focus on the negatives???
