Great White eats motor

Just read a story on Perth now about a GW eating the motor on a dingy out from Ocean reef today.Anyone else heard ? Nearly ran into a Whale less than 10m off shore today it was with its calf. Maybe that's why the GW was there.

Yeah I don't think it ate
Yeah I don't think it ate the motor, sounded like it had a bit of a chew on the prop and the motor fell off and sank. It was only a dinghy so probly only a small motor.

Yeah,
I think 'EATS MOTOR' might be an extreme over statement

Dont believe the media for one minute.
They exaggerate and sensationalize these sorts of issues and most issues for that matter.
I think you will find the 'tinnie' was a 18 foot heavy old glass boat.
Can't let the truth get in the way of a good story can we.

Bumped
What i heard was The shark went for the burley pot hanging along side the motor and ended up bumping the motor off. It's was a smaller motor that is only held on by those vice like mountings ..... Don't thing the shark bit the motor from what I was told.

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.
