Gummy shark rigs
Heading out to target them tonight or tomorrow night and wondering how everyone else likes to rig up for them.
I have one rod set up with a running rig and another with a wire rig I made to try out. I plan on fishing from about 8pm onwards and I'll be bringing Squid, Scalies and a bunch of rock crabs too.
Running rig:
40lb braid mainline
Large bean sinker
Lumo bead
Large swivel
~ 1m 60lb Fluoro
2 Lumo beads
2-hook gang

Running rig
On the top rig you have your bean sinker running on the braid main line, do you find that it scuffs up the braid at all? Other than that they look like they'd work

Not too much that I've
Not too much that I've noticed so far, but I've been looking out for this. I'm thinking of running ~5m of heavier mono joined with an albright knot to the braid to deal with this and body-rub from the shark skin.

Google FG knot
For joining braid to heavier mono. I used the albright for decades, went to the FG knot last year, never go back.
