HDS 10 ADvice on sounder setup

Can someone point me in the right direction as how to clean up these images. what cause the screen clutter and how do I go about doing so...
Thanks only new to sounders and any tips etc muchly appreciated...

i would say the sensitivity
i would say the sensitivity is to high, try running it on auto.
with mine, i am getting good reading just not at speed.
my sens was set on 5%, then go to the surface clutter page and put it to mediunm or high

also just noticed the depth
also just noticed the depth in the top pics and as it got deeper has cleared up to a better pic.
in the bottom pic, if you were doing 27knts you are getting a better pic than me at speed

Yeah ron I noticed that the deeper it got and the faster the picture cleaned up a little.
This was on the swan river on Sat in glass like conditions.
even at 35knots i didn't lose any pic
will try the sensitivity settings and clutter settings next time out...
