I grew up over there. The
I grew up over there. The fishing isnt bad if you know where to go. There is some good reef fairly close to the boat harbour and between woody island and fraser there is the artificial reef and a few other little reefs close to there which produce good fish. The south end of woody produced good fish too. They have brought in some no fishing zones in the last couple of years but i'm not really sure where they are.
there is a mob that hires house boats out of River Heads. I have never been on them but we go past when we are heading up the creek to pull the crab pots. The boats look like they are in good condition. I dont know if they let you take them over to fraser. I can ask my folks to find out who else does it if you want.
