Ive read he wanted to go home for family reasons...but it would be good to hear from the experts how this was Freo's fault ?
So not enough money...contract not long enough...not enough game time ?? Do you know when his last contract was signed by any chance and how many games he had played at that stage, freo just tried to screw him over ?
I don't know enough to comment Brock but I'm sure someone will. I genuinely think there is some bad luck involved with players wanting to go home, but that can't be the only reasom. Last I looked Brisbane is a long way from country South Australia.
The Eagles lost Juddy because he wanted to go home but there were some other considerations. I was spewing but in the end JK softened the blow!
Not much go home factor with Liam Henry either. Not to mention Hill, Lobb and Hogan who came home and then headed back interstate after a couple of seasons.
Maybe its channel west coast 7 they get sick off..
Liam is a pup and bound to chase a new opportunity / coin...was never a set walk up in the current side.
Hill was coxed by Lion and I dare say more coin..Him and his partner would have family over east also.
Lobb...who gives a fk...didn't want to play ruck, chasing coin
Hoagn...who gives a fk also..
Its all about the coin...most rattle on about Flags..Cups, but its all about the coin
Maybe Ginny can see the writing on the wall that his game time in the ones is going to disappear big time now that Lachie has arrived considering he was battling to get a game before the finals and it only happened because of injuries to top forwards leaving him as one of the options
Be interesting to see what Hawks or any other team are willing to offer for him.... He certainly has some upside and is still developing, but I do think people get a little too excited about his 2022 season when his free kick count was through the roof. As soon as umpires clamped down on the ducking, he didn't seem to be anywhere near as impactful on games and consistent output of 2-3 goals per game quickly turned to 0-1 goals.
Wish him all the best on field and hopefully doesn't get himself in too much shit off the field either.... He seems like a legitimate risk on that front to me but hopefully proves me wrong!

Bloody good pickup for the
Bloody good pickup for the Pies. I feel for the Freo fans when you consider the team you could make with the players that have left the club.

Not a lot of players leave
Not a lot of players leave straight after winning a GF, although Scott Lycett did. I guess he was already on the way out by the GF really.
