I got one of boys at Bluewater to do mine, I'm sure for very little cost they will do it for you. I would rather someone in the know do it than be thinking once hooked up to a good fish if it was done right. Too nicer reel to piss around with.

Dead easy to do spinner

Dead easy to do spinner drags......remove the circlip holding the drag washers and spacers in, pull them out in order, cledan them up with a rag, replacedrag washers with new carbontex and smear with a tiny bit lof cals drag grease or similar, and pt back togethe rin reverse order and put back circlip.....at least that is what a few other Penns , Daiwas and shimanos have been. Dogfight may be a bit more complicated, but still simple I would guess.

Just replaced the drag washers in my OH Calcutta with carbontex....much more complicated, and had to do it 3 times as I obvioulsy made a mistake putting it together and would not turn.......all sorted and the carbontex transforms what was a rather ordinary drag into a beast! Cost about $8 for the carbontex kit......

I tend to do all my own maintenance, be it reels, home, rebuild motors or whatever.....at least you know who to blame and you get a heap of enjoyment doing it! Just got a full reel maintenance kit from Brody, sweet as.

Got the Stellas to do next.....will be done with a bit more trepidation...................

is clearly shown on the parts breakdown chart that comes with your reel. Very easy to do.
