Sounder scroll speed

Hey guys and gals,
I was just wondering what peoples preferences are to the screen scrolling speed of there sounders and why? The reason i ask is because ive had a lowrance sounder for the last few years and it has always been set to the slowest scroll speed, but i have just upgraded to a furuno and i remember seeing the settings on another fishwrecked post set to almost the fastest scrolling speed. So im just wondering what speeds people have their sounder screen scrolling speed set to and why?
Cheers Paul

scroll speed
I have a Lowrance and run scroll speed as fast as it can . I find it gives me a better indication of what the bottom looks like

same. in the rick H book for
same. in the rick H book for lowrance he suggests to run fastest scroll speed , and so i did when i had one, and it worked well that way.
but with my furuno , i run 1/2 speed. find that the best at slow sounding speeds
setting the scroll fast , stretches everything way out.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

in the furuno manuals
they say if your looking a flat ground you should use slow speeds to give beeter dtail of the sand / shell / weed
and if your looking at rugged ground / drop offs / reef then the faster speeds are better ,
