how do u carry the spare hooks ?

well it should read "how do you carry the hooks and sinker rigs, when made up, you take out in your boat"
I make up hook and sinker rigs with a 'connection' at the top so I can change them whenever I need to, or think I need to anyway 
But they get tangled in the tackle box with the rest of the gear that is not used LOL
So how do you guys store individual combinations of hooks / sinkers ??
( or do you not do it that way at all )

Noodles
Wollies had some noodles on special for 10 bucks not long ago. These are EPS things that kids use in the pool as floatation devices. The bag had 4 noodles of differnt colour and I cut them up like sausages LOL. Each one is about a foot long and they are great for ready-made rigs. The noodles have a hole through the centre and that's where I hide the sinkers. True, they do take up more room but they suit me fine. I'm not a tidy fisherman at the best of times.......
That reminds me... I better take the bait from yesterday out of the car..... LOL

i use all of the above method. the only slightly difficult thing that happens is if you undo the rig the wrong way lol

My mahi and drift bait rigs
My mahi and drift bait rigs go on pool noddles and bottom rigs go into bank bags. Just go to the bank and ask for them, they are free if you bank there.

i just put my pattonoster rigs
in individual snap lock bags hooks ready to go..
then when chage rig put on the rquired sinker then....

i use the snaplock bags in
i use the snaplock bags in the rig wallets most of the time too ..
as a side note .. put a swivel at the bottom of the rig as well to connect the sinker to . and make you sinker dropper line lighter than the rig and close to the main line strenth , that way when you get snagged the lighter line breaks and you only lose the sinker . you can then tie on a new one and your fishing again

Wouldn't it be the hook that causes the "snag"

I never thought that would be a problem, but suppose it must be
As I say, fishing from a boat over reefs is all new to me
went out Saturday in Port Geographe and never even got a bite in 3 hours, must have been the frozen occy (bait) I bought

most of the time
the sinker gets snagged first and if you arent quick enough the hook and bait sinks and gets snagged as well.If you are fast enough at times if you give it some slack straight away and then lift (not strike) you can get the sinker out before it comes up to tight.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

i use pool noodles to put
i use pool noodles to put the ready made rigs and hooks on. with the droppers i put the hook into the noodle then wind around and hold it in place with a galvanised hook. the paternosta rigs i just use a nail at either end. no tangles and easy to see what you have and how many left

rig wallets for short traces, dhuie / snapper rigs and set up's
for longer set ups for surf or trolling, I use a Blackmagic lure bag. It has enveloped shaped pockets that are perfect for rigged lures and slices.
Small stuff like herring rigs etc, I use old champers corks, as they perfect to wind around and set the hook into.
Another trick is to use large plastic "pill box's" the type your nana uses for all her meds etc, the work well on fine rigs and flies.

Freezer bag ties
Nothing beats a freezer bag tie in my opinion (you know those white pices of plastic with a thin bit of wire in them.)
Simply wind your rig (paternoster) complete with hooks into a circle around your hand then tie it together with a freezer back tie. Then pop into a rig wallet.
The rig comes out easy and neat. You can keep several rigs in each rig bag pocket too.
Works for me!!!
