Well, last night I had to look after my boy. After about 4 hours of computer games, I hit my breaking point and asked if he wanted to go fishing? Not eager to go to sleep at 8 he said ok. So I packed a couple of rods and headed to a local jetty. On the way I had to pick up some bait. Stopped at a local servo to pick up a small bag of mulies. It's been a long time since I bought some bait from a local servo, last time I bought a block of mulies which turned out to be scallies. This time it hit an all time wtf! Since when did they pack scallies in packs of 6? Well I had to buy 2 packs and got slugged 4.70 a pack. Got there and the baits were dry, couldn't even put the cubes on the hook as the scales were hard and flesh was squishy.

well on a positive note, at least we were able to pick up bait at a stupid hour and the blowies enjoyed it.
