How to read a sounder properly!

Hi Everyone,

Can someone give me some advice on reading sounders properly? When I read them, what seems to be a ledge or a nice mound at the bottom pulls me in nothing but wrasse most of the time! Photos would be great, pointing out what I should be looking for.

Thanks in advance

There is a recent thread on the site covering the same thing with some links to articles on how to read your sounder.
