hey
me and the missus went out from mindarie this morning
slow start but got onto some good ground in the end
not before getting stung on the foot by a bluey
bugger me. the pain ended up going to my bollox. ouch
after finding the ground , we set a drift and both got a dhuey on same drop so left em biting for next time. 2's enough
interestingly , she caught the better fish on drift bait where as i got smaller fish on paternoster with lumo squid.
got into a shark and a harlequin amongst other things
and to top it all off , figured something out about sounder.

went out from gero today and not so great.. bought home 2 nice dhuies both caught on plastic which is always good.... spooled lost a couple of nice fish and flagpole lucked it got his 4 dhuies all on plastic in hour n half the prick! (while his decky was over the side talking to the seaweed lol) one good one too bout 8-9kg which isnt bad on bream gear in 15m of water haha.. fun to watch anyway.... im heading out wide tomorrow in search of a couple of bigguns so fingers crossed

went out from Mindarie too -
went out to the Bank from Mindarie too - had a couple of sambos, one pinky (undersize) and a blackass. Was looking like a promising day though we tried heaps of spots and couldn't really get the fish firing!! o'well was still good to get the boat out;)
Btw, I noticed a "fishwrecked" boat down at the ramps. It's a blue commodore center console boat - probably 6-7m - who's is this??:) was a nice looking boat!!

we had fun today in busso ..
we had fun today in busso .. took the dingy out from canal rocks . managed a heap of herring and whiting, 2 super sized samson fish in the shallows and one massive ray. was great to finaly get on the water

Didnt get out, pretty windy up here even though the gulf glassed off late in the arvo. Will be out tomorrow. I know some other lucky Pilbara prick did well, arsey bastarD!!!

but my crew did very well by the looks of it.Just got the update one 18kg on the dot kept 2 larger released one biggen dropped.One 15 kg kept returned with just the 2 fish and i had to work
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

Pretty quiet day out fish
Pretty quiet day out fish wise, bringing home only 1 black ass and 2 fox fish.. and a few squid caught just before taking the boat out.. released a decant sized port jackson and a bunch of undersize pinkys. Excitement of the day was a group of 3 whales that put on a great show, jumping and slapping and swimming all around the boat (stay tuned for photos). After an amazing experience having the whales so close we headed off to drop on some good ground we'd drifted over while watching them. We'd gone a couple hundred meters away from them and I sent my line down to the bottom.. I was getting a few hits when suddenly one of the whales appeared swimming directly under the back of the boat and across my line... I instantly backed my drag right off and the line was pouring from my reel, realising the line wasn't going to slip off this whale and having 80m of line out I grabbed a knife and cut off my favourite bottom rig :( I can't believe I got whaled! If I hadn't cut the line it woulda spooled me for sure, not to mention the hooks would have eventually found their way up and into moby dick.
What an experience...

Scored well quiet day to start drizzling a lot of the time but managed to hit a spot and score 2Dhuis 1 BaldChin and 2 BA good all round.
I second the fishwrecked boats loads at the ramp think I saw PaulG and wasgoing to follow him and that big as allrounder was launching just behind us.
Where were the wales looks awsum
