Apparently Collingwood are going to leave their state 5 times next season - yes that's right, you heard it here. Can you imagine the security breifing by cabin staff - that will ceratinly be a big operation, ensuring that the players are 100% sure where the emergency exits are (They wouldn't know otherwise, not having been on a plane for so long). I can see that DVT is going to be a major player in the health status of the players next season.

We Collingwood supporters have been trying to get a level playing field for years but the AFL keeps getting them to play on the Melbourne grounds at all costs [must be something to do with their revenue stream] , now we can get to see them more often in the flesh and not just on Friday nights when the cost to advertisers is highest.
Think of the experience the players will get travelling to Subi or the Gold coast or even Sydney to play in front of crowds smaller than 70.000 on a normal round and not have to face whingers from other states always complaining about them not travelling---bloody sooks, why can't they grow up and realise that Collingwood don't make the fixtures and shouldn't be blamed for any inequality in them.
