Sight casting to these at the back of the boat is great fun.

Yep they are great fighters
We had a ball on Goldspot, but we got pretty tired of them when they were in plague proportions. Time to move on and find some Red's was the call when the first fish over the side was a Golden.
I hear myself saying that and then think....my god if we had Goldens down here in Perth I would be clambering all over the place trying to get a lure down their throats. Shows how good a quality the fishing up there is when you can say you want to move on after catching a 10kg Golden. Ahhhh Exmouth, gotta love it.
Nice pic too, but the shadow of the rod spoils it a little (hmmm looks like an Ugly Stick....am I right?)
Cheers

Lock it in?
Do you want to lock that answer in Andy? Hehe.
Love catching trevs. When there's heaps its time to have some experimental fun. Can't say I'm much of a bottom fishing person, but can understand the allure of the big reds.

We got some thumper gold
We got some thumper gold spot around coral bay, very hard work in shallow water (inside reef lagoon). They're a little dissapointing when hoping for a big Spangled Emperor but good fun nontheless.

I haven't caught either fish
I haven't caught either fish Jonya (unfortunately!), but I've heard that GT's fight harder.
