Jigging combo

Chasing a jig outfit for demersals along the lines of a shimano stradic 4000 and suitable rod (grappler maybe) to fish 30 pound braid (whatever pe rating that is).

Thats the exact combo I have
Grappler pe3 with 4000 fk stradic. Landed the biggest dhuie I've caught so far and handled it with ease. The only thing I would say is that the pe3 is a little stiff to work 80 to 150g slow fall jigs with a really good action. I use it mostly as a standard bottom basher. If I had my time again I would go a softer rod probably a pe1.5 to 2.

Mate I run 5000 stradics on pe 2 -4 gomokus and while there was a few people that had problems with these rods I have had no issues at all over the last 3 years and taken large dhus to 22kg and grey band in 180 metres running 30 lb whiplash
The next time i see that jig will be in the mouth of something big !!
