I use the "Man up, gloves are for wooses" gloves Wink

Though, sometimes wear sun gloves (burnt backs of hands not so fun, and gloves easier than sunscreen sometimes).

About the only time i've really wanted/needed gloves while jigging is if i'm jigging with a reel which has a screw or divet on the handle right in the middle as they sometimes seem to dig in after lots and lots of jigging. Other than that, I've never really needed them.

Popping

Definitely Jay, I've been laying bricks for a long time, and I have hands like leather but there is no way known to man I would be without at least one casting glove. It's not about "manning up" it's about having fingers left at the end of the trip!!

JM jigging gloves

Fri, 2010-08-06 20:14

I have as we sell them in the shop. They are good value and are quite robustly made. They anti slip leather on the palm side, reinforced with lambs leather between thumb and forefinger. Double layer thumb and forefinger tips for casting heavy poppers...
