Only used the three kings and can recommend them - the heavy ones are a serious bit of gear though, out of my strength range

So many good jigging
So many good jigging specialist brands, not really sure I could go the shimano. Smith are great rods, the amj series are pretty long in the tooth.
Where are you located?

You should look at teh Synit
You should look at the Synit deepshot range if they are in your area. Top of the range stuff them. I'm trying to get a hold of a DS100 blank to build. It's only 84 grams compared to 93 for the JM 3 kings special UL.

don't think I would make a decision on a rod based on 9g.....that said Synit are world class and at the forefront of blank design

Yes that's true. The point
Yes that's true. The point was to show the quality as the JM three kings blanks are getting huge wraps and the UL and DS 100 have similar specs in terms of drag etc. If I can't source a DS100 soon I'll look at the UL.
