Hey Lads
Chasing some info on where i might be able to buy JM reels in WA now? the old stockists arnt selling them any more and i am wanting a new (or second hand if someone has one) JM PE2 Powerspell reel?

check out the maxel transformer reels, they are almost identical to jm, and a lot cheaper. I just purchased a f30ch which is equivalent to a jm pe11 and am very impressed.
Tackle hq are selling them.
My spots are so secret even the fish don't know about them !

I have a JM PE6 reel and had
I have a JM PE6 reel and had an issue with the drag tried to contact the distributor for servicing etc and got zero repsonse. Like you say no one locally sells them and no one wanted to service it. I did eventually find someone but still the same issue. It is useable but cant adjust it much.
From personal excperience i will only by Shimano now. Locally serviced and support and spare parts readily available.

I have one of the PE6 Reels
I have one of the PE6 Reels and love it. They do have a full on drag but. Its either on or its off there is no in between.

Hi dowders, they are still pritty big here in Sydney , Can't belive you guys have no one in wa that sell them . I guess it all comes down to distributors and resellers relationship .i used to service them for most stores in Sydney and for main company when they were starting to establish in aus in 2008

Jayce I would hate to say this but when you come to overhead jigging jms are the best. I hate the aus distributor here. I Buy all mine from thiland as my cousin Own a good tackle shop there . Only guy I know who services the reel and has parts to replace broken parts is a Sydney retailer and also a fishing buddy .If any one need info on where to purchase jm parts pm me ,I'll flick details through ..
