Jurian - Cray / Crabs?

Guys
Heading to Jurian mid week. Wondering where you would put your crays pots at this time of the year (depth etc)? Also, I heard the Marina up there holds crabs, would it be worth talking up crabs nets?
Thanks for any advise you can offer.

Good luck...
...with the cray pots. Most years you need at least a week from the start (15th) before their shells harden up and they're brave enough to start wandering around looking for a feed (going into pots). Your best bet, if you HAVE to run pots, is to just find a sand hole in the middle of some reef and go for some reds. Closer to the ledges/caves the better. Try the back side of Favourite Island (aka Crocodile Island), the first one you see coming out of the marina.
As for the crabs...we were there a month ago and the only place we could find any was in the marina, and they were well undersize. A local mate of mine reckons he got a few but had to work pretty hard for them.
