Jetty
Put the time and effort into the jetty and you will be sure to catch!!! Unweighted live baits(yellowtail if you can get em) are the go. That's were I got my big mully. And that week plenty were caught!!
Good luck mate haven't been up for awhile but the Mack's should be around also in the mornings.

Hill river
Hill river is also a good option you can get there with 2wd.. Good for ballooning as there won't be as many people and plenty of storm gardies for bait or feed with a bit of burley..

+1 for Hill River. Camped
+1 for Hill River. Camped for a few days/nights there a few summers ago and with a strong sea breeze the tailor were like flies from sunset through to 10 ish, decent size too. Also one morning had a mulie out from 7 and around 930 something big took off with it. Plenty of headshakes and then my knot pulled argh!!! Suspect either a mully or shark, mates have done well on bronzies there over the years. We fished just south of the river mouth. There's a few spots to camp behind the dunes to keep out of the wind but are popular. Good luck!
